Historically, kids who put depth chart at or near the top of their priorities don't end up signing with UT. UT has to decide whether the kid is worth fighting for. Factoring in how many DB spots they have vs. how many DBs they are still looking at and whether he is or is likely to be the most likely to be a contributor at the next level will give them their answer. It'll be interesting to see how that develops, as well as reading the gnashing of teeth of fans whose favorites drop by the wayside.
