I believe all of our lbs are healthy and participating in spring. I think besides Hicks you can throw a blanket around the rest. It will be interesting to see if manny can sort things out in that particular position (as well as the d in general). I know Bluiet (sp) just moved to DE, but will be interested to see his progress.

My biggest concerns are 1) the defense and can/will Diaz adjust his style and playcalling. Too much talent on this D to be as bad as we were last year.

2) the offensive line coming together and improving.

offensive line holds the key on offense. I'm sorry but I'm not a Dom Espinosa fan..

Also, how is Major gonna use Daje? Is Steve Edmond gonna drop some pounds and improve his instincts

For me, it’s all about the defense and the ability to stop teams. Because, I do not want UT to become an Arena team. I personally do not like to see games where each team has 50 or 60 points.

I am interested to see if we have anything from Ridgeway, Norman or Boyette. It will probably determine if Texas goes harder after Juco DTs next year.

I also want to see if Colbert can step up and contribute.

And will McFarland get more run in an up-tempo offense with more receiving options.

Let them learn to TACKLE in the Spring. Let them hit each other, get physical and let the injury concern fall where it does. Maybe protect Ash, but that's about it. If they can't learn to be physical and hit and TACKlE, we might as well forget 2013 season

I want to see if this oline can take the next step. A few years ago they were terrible, now they are decent to good. Lets see if they can finally become an elite group again.
