People take themselves way too seriously on the internet.

College basketball is basically a one year try out for pro basketball. Top college teams rent players for one year. It's the dirtiest of any "amateur" sport. I don't see how any team can consistently land 5 star recruits without cheating. It's not like Barnes is piling up the championships either. I would like to believe he's clean, but if I had to bet I'd bet against it.

You are one stubborn SOB. If it's not a guess, then you're flat-out lying. It's one or the other because you are, in fact, wrong. That's my last post on this.

This is an odd thread. It seems fairly simple to me:

SLX is giving his opinion about the program but is doing it in a half assed way as he makes an accusation on the program but doesn't give any strong reasoning other than he doesn't like Ro Russell. No proof or even strong circumstantial evidence.

Now, I don't know if the program has done wrong through Russell or not and I understand he can say his opinion on the matter on here, but I, and everyone else here, also have the right to think it's half assed and a wild accusation without any evidence. That's my opinion.

I do not know Ro Russell but for a guy who has coached hundreds of the very best players in his country over the last 20 plus years if he is a cheater I find it odd that one can present no evidence. To the contrary one can present all kinds of evidence from a simple internet search that he has been a positive role model and help to the kids he has coached.

I also find no evidence that Rick Barnes through over 20 years of coaching has ever cheated in any way or been anything short of honorable in his coaching ethics. Now an internet poster is to have us believe that in his "opinion" these two are cheating in the recruitment of players to our fine school?

I say if you are making serious accusations like cheating then bring your evidence and bring it hard or keep your opinion to yourself.
