Made sense at the time. Would have been a definite upgrade in Harsin's offense to all of the FBs on the roster, and a lot of times solid HBack/FB/BlockingTE was all that was missing for the offense to click a bit better.

Just might be a bit out of place now.

He's a JAG and a bad fit for the spread. Like Brewer he's a Harsin casualty

It wouldn't make sense to run the same running game/play action stuff just really fast. I'd bet that Major wanting to get in more plays, wanting to go tempo, our o line not suited to mauling power run game, our best play makers being receivers, and two RBs who can catch the ball well all tell me we'll be running a lot more spread than anything else by far. We'll still have situational changes I'm sure, but I'd think the vast majority of what we run under Major with the type of team we have will be spread.

Thanks for the info. That seems to jibe with what Mack was saying about the offense in quotes that it was more about tempo than running a spread.

RB is the strength of the offense. Hope they are a big part of the 60% passes.
