He said we couldn't run the ball. I threw a stat out there and that's all.

I think you are going to be very surprised come season time. I'll add that not just you, but the country will be very surprised. From what I have been hearing, I feel Texas will have a very explosive offense and a stout defense like always. I don't have the stats to back this up, well that is the offense only of course, because our offense was not very good last year. I don't think you are arguing the defense at all because they will be TOP 5 in the country! For now, this is all speculation on what we think the season will go like. I just feel that Ash will surprise alot of people and the offense will thrive.. Top 10, maybe not. But Top 20 or 30, for sure. That is a big jump from 80, or what ever we were last year. Just imagine how good we will be if we make that big of a jump. The only thing I care about is W's, and the way this defense plays, a Top 20 or 30 offense will give us plenty of those..

  • While it is fun getting the Sooner riled up; I don't think we are going to see a total collapse of the OU offense next year like we are hoping to see. OU recruits well too and they have a strong wr class coming in. The OU oline should also be the class of the Big 12. I don't think Landry Jones is a first round draft pick caliber quarterback like many believe but I would take his experience next year over Ash. The key next year will be the OU defense. I think they have some holes that can be exploited. The Sooners maintain that brother Stoops has come to the rescue. It had been a very long time since Stoops put together a top notch defense and that was done predominantly with John Blake recruits. Just ask Harsin; it takes time to build back a side that was neglected. The OU defense was by no means neglected like the UT offense was butt they were clearly the red headed step child of the team.

  • I don't assume they will collapse I only want to point out that we have just as many reasons to be optimistic as they do. They have questions, we have questions. We both think we have the answers.

By the way, there was only about 50 YPG separating us from top 25 in total offense. The big thing that held our offense back are direct results of the two areas I think we have addressed. Decision making and young OL playing out of position.
