Diggs, Byndom, Jammer vs Tyrann Mathieu

  • Last night was pretty entertaining on twitter. There was an indirect (meaning they haven't addressed each other directly) back and forth between Diggs, Byndom, Jammer and Tyrann Mathieu on Twitter about DBU. It was good stuff. Got me all fired up for the season as if I wasn't already.

  • Yeah I saw Aaron Williams post something like, only two years of putting DBs in the NFL doesn't make you DBU, has to be year in year out.

    He is right. Texas is DBU, has been ever since Akina got here. The only other team that could challenge us is Miami i think

  • LSU is not even the best in the SEC at putting out DB'S. People sleep on South Carolina, they are the second best behind Texas in the last decade in my opinion..

    You left out Chris Culliver. 3rd rounder in 2011 Draft for the 49ers. He played a lot of nickel last year as a rookie. It always seems like South Carolina has a top 5 safety or CB in every draft.

    Mathieu is overrated. Tenacious player but he is only relevant because of his special teams play and his nickname, which apparently are handed out by LSU fans like candy.The fat guy the Rams drafted in the 1st round is nicknamed the Cookie Monster.

    If he gets a good draft eval, then he should leave early. Nothing wrong with that, even though we would all love to have him for 4 years.

    Exactly...I said before Alabama exposed him and I think teams are going to take full advantage of that..not going to be the same year for him as last year...

    I had the right character in mind, just the wrong Stallone movie (I was thinking Judge Dredd). I was born in '85 so I don't think you dated yourself - unless this means that I am now considered old.
