Did anyone listen to the post game interviews

  • and get upset about the players lack of emotion over the loss?

One of the biggest reasons why Mack needs to go, the players don't care they just lost to a team that hasn't won in Austin since the 60's.

  • Yep...

It was really nice to hear Mason Walters talking about his favorite Thanksgiving foods after the game

Sure did...that's been this teams MO from the start. They operate just like their coach does in the locker room and on the field. Mack looked pissed after the game, but so what? What did he do before and during the game, instead of clapping and coddling? That's been a problem with Mack ever since he's been here. That's what you get after a bye week and we have three next season so look out. Expect more of the same.

  • I purposefully avoided the post game interviews. I figured I was pissed off enough. No reason to add to the aggravation.

  • I have always repected Texas and cheered for them many times but watching them the past couple of seasons they seem to play to laid back or even (sad to say it) "soft" & it is a direct reflection of the coach. He is good man but I think it is time for some new blood. I feel he is trying to get it turned back around while still on his watch before stepping down. I am not trying to flame or troll just giving my two cents because I am concerned. I hope it gets fixed quick . peace

  • I think a big part of the problem is that Mack always blames the coaches and never the players. The players all think it's somebody else's fault. I think it was after the Okla game, Mack told the players something like, "some of you aren't playing up to your potential, you know who you are". I'm thinking every player on the team walked out of that meeting thinking, "can't be me, must be somebody else".

I'll give him one more year to bring this team back to where it belongs, then even I'm gonna turn on him. I don't want a a-hole, classless coach jerking headsets off of GA at this university, but come on - hold these kids accountable! Make them care about losing.

It is the coaches fault if the players aren't prepared or getting the job done.

Every additional year we give Mack is an additional year of mediocrity and games like OU, Kansas, and TCU where the team doesn't show up. The only brightside is that Mack staying another year won't make the job any more difficult for the next coach. Any decent coach should be able to come in and do just as well or much better than Mack has the past three seasons. The players and talent is there for the most part, and the only thing missing is attitude, accountability, preparation, and a consistent offensive philosophy. All of which point to Mack as being the problem and something that can be fixed with a new head coach.

Agreed, it is the coaches fault for not holding the kids accountable. That was my point - hold the kids accountable.
