Devante Kincade - Is he the best Texas QB in 2013?

I don't know, and I'll defer to the experts, but consider this:
He just took home the elite 11 MVP

What are your thoughts?
Devante Kincade - QB Skyline, is not getting the run he deserves. He is step 1 of an explosive offense at Skyline that advanced to the state semifinals last year. While his two WRs (Thomas Johnson and Rashaad Samples) have both been swamped with D-1 scholarship offers and he clearly has elite weapons, those are not all run after the catch yards.
His film also looks good. Does he have grade issues? Currently has offers from K-State, Illinois and Colorado, with LSU considering him as well. Just curious, but why the lack of scholarship offers?
Just as one point of measurement, compare Kincade's junior year stats (playing in 5A in DFW) to Barrett and Swoopes.
Kincade
Passing - 3,270 yards; 70% completion on 263 attempts; 37TDs 8 INTs.
Rushing - 857 yards; 17 TDs.
Swoopes
Passing - 1,394 yards, 52% completion on 209 attempts; 15TDs, 7 INTs.
Rushing - 2,267 yards, 29 TDs.
Barrett
Passing - 1,604 yards, 69% completion on 159 attempts 14TDs, 7 INTs
Rushing - 1,500 yards, 7 TDs.

I watched him play against The Woodlands in the regional finals and he doesn't look very big. He didn't stand out in my opinion compared to all of Skylines other D1 studs. Good but didn't look like the best QB in the state

If you like your QBs around 5'11" and 175 lbs, then he's your guy.

Based on this, I'd have to conclude that the QB class for this year is insane. Kids from Texas dominated the list of invitees to this event.

Greaaaat....I see him carving our defense up with the option in a couple of years with K-State...too bad UT can't take every Texas QB

Best in Texas? No
I don't go ga ga over QBs at camps really but Kincade showed a good arm while I was watching him today. The 2 best arms out there were the lefty committed to Michigan and some kid from Indiana

Don't they do regional elite 11 camps now? Weren't most of the guys from Texas anyway?

Yeah the camp on Saturday was the regional Elite 11.

Can't take them all. Stats don't tell the whole story. GG has some eye popping stats at Lake Travis.
