I'm always a little confused by the depth chart. Obviously a healthy Malcolm Brown wouldn't be the third running back. So, is this their way of telling us that he's injured and won't play or are they trying to tell us that he's the second guy off the bench? Same question for Jordan Hicks. He's clearly the starting WLB when healthy.

We'll start on offense where Johnathan Gray is the co-starter at TB with Joe Bergeron. Bergeron is listed first. Malcolm Brown is listed No. 3 on the depth chart.
On defense, the big move is that Mykkele Thompson is now the Longhorns' starting strong safety. Adrian Phillips is now the backup at that position.
Malcom Brown is listed as the co-backup at DT with Brandon Moore behind Desmond Jackson.
Jordan Hicks is listed first as the co-starter at WLB with Kendall Thompson.
