De'Vondre's hair made it easy to follow him on the video. It seems like we had pretty good luck with another guy that wore dreadlocks.
Seriously, it looks like he has good lateral movement, sheds blocks and stays on his feet and plays to the whistle. In several clips he maintained his assignment discipline and didn't get sucked out of position. Two or three times he edge rushed and was fast and successful, also batted down a couple of passes and had a pick 6. On the film it looked like he had good speed and in the "Athletic" tag of the clip it shows him at 4.4 in the 40. If everyone else is busy I'd be glad to drive up and give him lift to Austin.

That's always bothered me. I like going after jucos. I see the value in adding depth, replacing attrition or missed evaluations. DT and TE were a mess near that period. 2010 jumps out to me; our defense, as underrated as it was, could've benefited tremendously if we got a juco dt. Always reactive and never proactive I guess.
