austinr--that is far from true. I like this site, I have never been a paying member of orangebloods and hate their free board. The only use I have ever had for orangebloods has been their recruit database. I'm in no way trying to denigrate 24/7's work on this story, I'm simply pointing out to other posters that this is no more a scoop than the half-dozen stories pre-dating it on various sites.

Well that speaks volumes. I'm sure every coach has developed a thick skin and less than attuned ear with regards to the whims of their fan base, but to not realize his job was on the line after heading the most incompetent division of a bad team in an epic fall from grace is near mind numbing in it's lack of awareness.

Oh he's lazy when it comes to game planning, recruiting and developing players. However you better believe that he feels solely and completely responsible for any offensive success Texas has had.

In fact I wouldn't be surprised if he felt his name should be next to Vince, Ricky and Colt's name inside DKR.

Maybe he will claim his love for all things aggie and they will re-hire him. One can dream

It is my understanding from multiple sources that Greg Davis has resigned. I don't have a clue when UT will announce it or when Davis will speak publicly.

Just in case your internet coach is monitoring

I think people may consider Greg Davis' coaching style or game planning arrogant, but if you have met him or know him, I don't think you'd ever say that about him on a personal level. There is a difference between those and let's not lose sight of that, even for people who care only about the on-field performance.

My opinion was based on his coaching and his play calling in particular. Sorry if it sounded otherwise
