So he won't be a part of the athletic department at all? If so that is an excellent decision by whomever made it.

Bobby - there has been some talk Davis was very unhappy with Mack wanting to make a change. I would assume just flat resigning would indicate he was indeed pissed?

Great news! Great scoop! I want him completely out of the building though. I do not say that out of hatred, but I think it will be counterproductive to have him still involved int eh program. The next guy and players don't need that hovering over them.

Thanks for the correction. Had seen mentions from multiple staff on another site Davis was pretty upset with how all this was going down and not pleased with the changes coming

I'm not celebrating until I hear the official announcement and I know where he ends up. I don't trust Mack as far as I can throw him when it comes to GD.
