That's what happens when you get all wrapped up in 7 on 7 reports. Remember last summer UT losing a 7 on 7 game against Texas State? Plus, you're relying on the reports of some jackass who has a well known reputation for throwing random stuff on the wall, hoping something sticks and won't use his real name. Is that really a reliable source?

What if this is minor and Ash is able to return in three weeks? That would give Case the starter's reps for the first two weeks of fall camp, which might help him in the long run. If Ash is able to return to fall camp for the last two weeks or even just the last week and continue to do well in pads, we might actually have two game ready QBs which is what Mack wants.

If Ash can participate in camp and still end up the starter that should give him a confidence boost.

Here's hoping for a speedy recovery.

Ah, sanity at last; and in only 4 pages. Didn't Mack say this week that he wanted us to be less QBcentric? I took that to mean a quarterback who is able to turn and hand off to the Cerberus backfield and throw the occasional PA pass to a wide open receiver. We haven't necessarily lost anyone yet. And, as noted by pepper11, even if we have, he wasn't VY, he was the 125th-rated QB. Should Ash be injured for any period of time, I would think Case or Brewer can handle the limited chores required. I hope the kid is fine; I would like to see what he has become since the Cal game.

Granted, but not all his decisions last year were ideal. He makes quick reads, but there is always room for improvement.
