Kid looked like a talent a few years back! It is funny seeing a baptist school picking up kids that are kicked out of other universities. They'll take kids with questionable histories, but a male can't be in a female dorm passed 10 o'clock.

You are right. He graduated from Michigan and will be eligible to play immediately. He will help transition Wright.

And it is somewhat confusing to some that a "Baptist school" would take someone with a questionable past, but those with an understanding of the Baptist faith will know that it is built on second chances. With that said, he has no leash. One slip up and he is gone.

Didn't realize the Baptist faith was so heavily predicated on football because the admissions office is not nearly as forgiving for someone that can't run a 4.4 40 and catch the ball. Let's not pretend this is something it's not.

I don't think there's a cutoff, and Briles is entitled to take whomever he wants and give that person a million chance. I only responded because it's disingenuous to attribute picking up Stonum as some sort of Baptist second chances sort of thing. If Colt was being tongue-in-cheek with his comment, then I apologize. This is a maximizing wins decision, plain and simple.
