This is the All Out assault in an attempt to pummel Texas into mediocrity. Alabama and every other program in the country knows how dangerous a program Texas can be, and if they can steal some of the best prospects from their state now while they are on a down swing before they trend upward again, they have a shot at setting the program back for a long time. The strong prey on the weak. Especially when the weak happens to be a sleeping giant who no one wants to wake up.

Then why do they offer them a scholarship? Why not say, come to campus and we will further talk about it? I just don't agree with this. It is shady, but it is what it is... it is just the world of recruiting we live in. Would not surprise me this goes back to the 80's with the $ec tactics...

Man, I swear with each passing day Texas boards resemble aggy boards circa 2010 more and more. This isn't some deep rooted conspiracy. Alabama has won 3 of the past 4 NCs, and they're taking full advantage of that. Nothing more, nothing less. It's hilarious to think they give two shits about a Texas program who can't beat the likes of TCU and Kansas State.

Blake posted that Gresham, and I quote, "....picks up an Alabama offer." I respond by saying he must be a football player not a track star. Am I missing, Bobby?
I get all that committable business, but the Tide's interest in a player is always a good thing these days. They are the measuring stick.
