This storm has a lot of energy. It was blowing 60 plus out here in New Mexico yesterday. Didn't have enough moisture to snow much, but when it runs into Texas' juicy warm air; it could be very interesting.

I don't know how much rain we have had today. Pretty sure that it has been a lot more than we had all of last summer and fall. My dog is terrified of thunder, just scares hell out of him. Right in the middle of an absolute downpour he broke though the gate and was running around the front yard. I had good time trying to get 115 lbs of scared dog back into the backyard and fix the gate. My only hope is none of my neighbors witnessed it.

Have you ever looked into getting him some drugs? My dog did the exact same thing and we got some medication that would level her out, its alot better than her freaking out for the whole time

I live in southeast Texas and it has really started coming down here. Wind is pretty high too, as the rain is coming down sideways. As dry as it was last summer I am not going to complain though.

I as well hope you and the family are safe. Lotta rain north of ATX where I live. My neighbor had to park a rather large boat in the cul de sac. Animals were lining up two by two this morning to board it.
