Hopefully i will have a new mug shot photo for next season
oh boy Im eagerly waiting for the day some random from the internet I don't know listens to me ...
Why don't teams rush 4 softly and try to limit Manziel to 4 yards instead of 20? Seems like this is what UF and LSU did to limit him and when MSU has done it have had decent success.
Especially with the bad kicker

It'll be interesting to see if he can continue to survive the poundings he takes on these runs. Lots of hits on your QB.
Same QB? Not exactly.
James Franklin threw for 2,900 yards and rushed for nearly 1,000 last season.
He's the starter this year too.

He's been hurt all year, moot comparison.
The Aggies would whip our asses this year, and I feel certain that will remain status quo as long as the clapping douche is in charge of our program.
Manziel really does need to learn to avoid contact.
why didn't UT recruit Manziel? The guy is a baller. Of course he is a great qb, so we whiffed on him, which seems to be the case (no pun intended) over the last few years.

You are the kind that would be ignoring the asteroid all the way down...
That was my point. It isn't the same QB if he missed half the year.
That said, I think Mizzou has struggled with SEC play. I think they will improve next year.
It was one of the battles Major lost to Davis and Mack.

Well now. That'll do, donkey.
Atm secondary sux....and they play in sec. Not exactly known fir throwing
How many excuses do you need for a&m success? They have done well and for some reason you can't eat crow. I could back to posts on your site 6 months and hating is the MO. Keep up the good work.
The aggy love on this board is getting pathetic.
The Aggies are good this year, they would have more loses if they played in the big 12. They lose to OU, Kansas st, and depending on where the game is they lose two from Oklahoma st, Texas, Texas tech, Iowa st, and West Virginia, possibly three. The people also saying that we would get dominated by A&M underestimate how that rival can turnout it could go either way. The bad thing is the perception of their success with recruits. I am also curious if they can maintain this because it always seems like when they hire a new coach they over achieve then when they are suppose to be really good(like last year) they fall apart.
I'm so tired of bad offensive teams/games being touted as great defenses and super league in the SEC. The top4 SEC teams are stud defensively.
But that superior conference crap stops after 4thplace. This year, the top six Big 12 offenses would blow up every SEC team except Bama, LSU and Fla, and A&m would be 2-5 by now.

+1 my friend. It all starts with espn's love for the secheats.
Because Texas (read: Mack Brown) is absolutely obsessed with height at QB position. Manziel is too small for his liking.
Teams that dont have the athletes across the board like LSU and Florida do cant hold up forever in coverage while the QB scans the field for someone to open up. A good QB with good receivers will eventually find someone open down the field. The kid is throwing the ball well in addition to running it. It would be different if he was a run-first type guy who cant throw the ball but he's making progress reading defenses and has been throwing the ball very well from the pocket.
