Texas moved up to No. 12 in the team rankings and is back in front with the No. 1 class in the Big 12.
In order to create the most comprehensive Team Recruiting Ranking without any notion of bias, 247Sports Team Recruiting Ranking is solely based on the 247Composite Rating.
Based on all that's going on, we are lucky we are in the position we are. Plus, we are getting what we need. Much more important than filling the class with numbers.
Yep and hopefully Robinson will commit. If that happens, Texas might make the top ten anyway-
He's already counting towards the ranking, he's considered a Texas commit.
Robinson commit? What did I miss.
When you sort by Average, Texas come in at #4 behind USC, ND and Bama. We don't have quantity, but we definitely have quality.
If Billings and Hammad commit, it's about as well as you could hope for in the trenches.
I always sort by average. The point systems are silly and give varying opinions of the weight that should be applied to numbers, but it tells you almost nothing about the quality of players you are bringing in. Average tells you everything.
What matters most (in my opinion) are the following (in order of priority): (i) quality athletes, (ii) filling team needs, (iii) qb, and (iv) always get the best linemen possible on both sides of the ball.
The ultimate problem with the ratings systems is that they cant really address (ii) in any even way.
I see us at 14, behind OU. Am I missing something?
