Way early but how does QB stack up in Texas for 2014? Any super stars out there? If not, could that mean we might offer Barrett?

Jerrod Heard, from Denton Guyer. Incredible athlete. I like him more than Thomas, Barrett, and Swoopes. He's gonna be special I think.
Ok, so now you've got me curious. Why do you think he's gonna be special?
Go watch his highlights, he's about 6'2 185 now as a soph. One of the best basketball and baseball players in the Denton area. Had over 3000 total yards this year in one of the toughest 5A districts in the state. And Guyer is moving to 4A now. Who's going to put up some eye popping numbers

"I've heard some of our fans say, 'We were always an SEC school. We just didn't know it," athletic director Bill Byrne said.
Heard is definitely the most well known right now. Plus athlete who can throw the ball pretty well for only going into his junior season. The things that impresses me the most is his presence in the pocket. For being a sophomore last year he didn't bail and rely strictly on his athleticism to save him. He has very good command of the QB position at a young age. If he can continue to improve on his throwing then he has a really solid chance to be the guy in 2014.
Zach Cripps is another to watch but I like Heard better. We'll see who shows up at camp this summer. That's where everyone found out about JT Barrett last year.

9 and 4 at Texas sucks!
- Jeff Howe
Well, more important to me, my son, who will turn 3 in April can zing the whiffle ball like no other. If he continues to eat like he does now, keeps his education up (he can count all the way to 20 and knows his colors) he'll be a star I am telling ya!
- God Bless Texas
Well, he already could qualify for SEC schools academically...
Now that was funny, and sadly true.
IMO Jerrod Heard is the leading QB for 2014.
He and a kid from Bama will battle it out for top QB in the nation for 2014.
I think you're talking about Tadric Jackson out of Georgia. He's supposed to be really really good.
Heard is legit.
Justice Hansen out of Oklahoma is supposed to be very good. OU legacy.
Perhaps that's him. Whoever it was, I know that as a freshmen, the kid won the MVP at Alabama's camp, and Saban was in attendance, and as figured, he has the kid on lockdown.
Shouldn't it be Ash's senior year?
Disciplina praesidium civitatis
Yes, unless he goes pro early
Thanks for the profile on Heard.
