Marqise Lee... Dude is AMAZING. He probably won't be in New York which is tragic. He leads CFB in Rec, Yds and has 16 total TDs.. Smh
Brenhams next star Darrion Johnson Class of 2014
In my eyes at least
Tavon Austin imo. Pound for pound best player in the country.
He is awesome and probably the most dangerous player in the country. I think he'll get an invite to NYC. Especially with a big game versus Notre Dame. Heisman Pundit has him 5th and they're usually a good barometer.
I agree Tavon is also the most exciting player in CFB.
He may very well just be that. He is good when the ball comes his way.
i agree. His play has kept barkley relevant in the media.
Won't be popular on this board but Mantei Teo. Heart and soul of #1, undefeated team that wins with defense.
Are you kidding me? Anybody but a certain frontrunner is popular on this board. Lol.
I suspect A&M will go ahead & add his name to the stadium as the 2012 winner, regardless if he wins the Heisman or not
Good idea. We'll put it right under Bucky.
Good ol' Buck-nut Richardson? There's a ball player with shit for brains!
I can tell you who shouldn't win it - Manzeil!!! Can't believe he's even mentioned. But if I had to pick, I'd still go with Klein.
He's running an explosive offense in a conference where the players and coaches are completely unfamiliar with it. Completely, as in they look lost. The Alabama game was a good example. 20 of their 29 points were scored in the first quarter - their first 3 possessions.. They pretty much stuffed him the rest of the game after they put a spy on him and started keeping the receivers in front of them. Let's look how he's doing in 2-3 years when the SEC catches up. What if he sucks by his senior year, yet he's sitting on a Heisman.
I personally think any no huddle spread offense from the Big XII would have had the same success as aggie - they don't know how to defend it there. Consequently, Manzeil looks great when he wouldn't even be in the hunt if they were still playing here, where we know how to defend it.
Tavon Austin, with Teo a close second.... Ags are really pushing Manziel because of his highlight moments but Austin produces the whole game and playing running back last week against Oklahoma he went off big time.
If you're not making mistakes, then you're not doing anything. I'm positive that a doer makes mistakes.
Like it or not, this board should accept that Johnny Manziel is the best Hawaiian QB Texas A&M has ever recruited
Not lucky, just unfamiliar in an explosive offense. I'm not saying Manzeil isn't running the offense well, he's doing great. I'm just saying he's not Heisman material yet. Not even close. I think he's in a unique situation where defenses don't know what to do to stop him. There's probably 5 qb's in the Big XII that could put up the same numbers with that offense in the SEC.
Don't buy into this SEC is unbeatable crap. This is the same aggie team that was 7-6 last year in the BIG XII with a new coach and offense. Because they haven't failed in the SEC is more of a reflection of the SEC and not A&M, in my opinion.
Ok, maybe they don't have the offenses to keep up.
Mantei Te'o.. hands down! Guy has been impressive and has something that Manziel does not......0 losses!!
