Expected to be one of the top guys on the board for the Longhorns.
Lancaster’s Nick Harvey made his first trip to College Station and was impressed with the “Friday Night Lights” scrimmage and the attention he received from the AM staff.
I don't really get wrapped up into who kids like or don't like this early but hearing guys like Harvey, Collins and Scott mention other 3 or 4 teams before Texas doesn't give me warm and fuzzies.
9 and 4 at Texas sucks!

I think Texas lands him, my bro, Collins and Watkins
Brenhams next star Darrion Johnson Class of 2014
I also want to say I hope your brother goes to the school that is best for him, whether it be Texas, A&M, Baylor, LSU, or wherever. And hope this board doesn't go all batshit crazy if he does not come to Texas. I've seen the Aggy board eat a few posters who are family members of recruits that did not pick their school and it's deplorable.
Also, thanks for posting here.
Oh, we'd never do anything like that. Would we boys and girls?
Johnson and Harvey make the 2014 class sick. I really like Arrion Springs too.
Biggest difference between us and aggy IMO. We think they're a bunch of goofy cultists who let their envy for THE University of Texas permeate every fiber of their being, for which we make fun of them--and rightly so--but still, we can acknowledge that they have a very good school and an atmosphere that has undeniable appeal for people from small towns who don't really understand (or care to understand) the workings of the wider world.
By comparison, a significant percentage (not necessarily a majority) of their fan base truly believes that we are evil incarnate, and much like Sir Winston, if Texas were playing Damnation U, they would at least make a favorable mention of the Devil. Any favorable reference to "little t, little u (tee-hee!)" is nothing short of treason, and any Ag legacy who chooses "that little school to the west" is to be disowned, their name never to be spoken again.
It's sad, really, that a group of people can be, collectively, so small-minded.
11/24/11: 27-25, 76-37-5, a winning record at Kyle Field, and bragging rights 'til Gabriel blows his horn. Well...bye.
