Nice try at trolling, but my memory is quite good thanks.....
I'm not trolling you. Just pointing out you're wrong. Not everyone said Vince would do nothing at QB and not everyone wanted him to move to WR.
9 and 4 at Texas sucks!

No, your memory blows. A few idiots bawled on Hornfans and Orangebloods after the Missouri game in 2004. That doesn't equal a majority and many of us never doubted the guy. So try stupid somewhere else.
All I know is there is no more Davis (thank god for that)to coach up QBs anymore. There's a new sheriff in town by the name of Harsin who I believe will do wonders not just with T.S. but with all the UT QBs. He runs a system that if the kids buy into they will be secessful. Can not wait.
After the OU game that year, I remember sitting at games from then on out listening to fans say this. So say what you will, and call me what you will, but I do know what I am talking about. It's funny how fickle some of you really are when it comes to these memories.
That's not what you said in your post. Saying you remember some fans at an OU game is not the same as everyone saying it. You changed your story in a matter of 3 posts.

I was expanding, you can't put 2+2 can you? This board is as bad as OB.....
I sure hope you guys leave Thomas alone. He looks like he could be a good one. You guys do have your championship QB on campus, but he will probably redshirt. Conner Brewer is your man. Yep, even better than Ash IMO right now at this moment. His lack of knowledge of the offense will keep him out of the running, but he is for sure the real deal IMO. Gonna be interesting to see what happens.
There is nothing more dangerous in this world than a man with nothing to lose.
Who is being fickle? You've changed your story from "it was a majority" to "some people in the stands near me for a few games" and you've attempted to lump posters on this board into. Whine how you'd like, but keep the rest of us out of it.
A few fans you heard after football games is too small of a sample size for you to extrapolate anything. You're making conclusions on very specious evidence.
Texas should take a QB prospect in every single recruiting class. Period. By taking three in the last two the 2013 class affords Harsin the luxury of going with a prospect with more upside that will potentially take multiple years to develop. That is how I see Swoopes. Yes at 17 he does not look like Vince Young and predictably is struggling at certain parts of these prospect camps.
Realistically he would not be called upon to start until the 2015 season at the earliest. Can he be a much more refined prospect three years from now? I think so.
The only issue I have is his ranking among other prospects in the state. He does not look like the top one or two players in the state and that ranking by some is creating unfair comparisons and expectations.
He is what he is. A young, unrefined prospect with some decent athletic attributes that is being added to our pipeline at QB. Someone that would most likely be ok with redshirting and spending time developing. A good fit for what we need in this class.
I think you are retarded.
You are an idiot
You're a dumbass
Good post and this is the interesting part. There are those around him that apparently want him to play early.
If that is the case that could be an issue. Even the biggest Swoopes supporters out there do not think he is a day one contributor.
