I just don't see why you offer 8th graders anyway they still have 5 years left till their NSD
Maybe it's his 4th year in 8th grade and he's really 18
Personally I think its because you flatter the kid and make him think of your school as he gets older. If he turns out to be a stud then your foot and half your body is in the door already. If he doesnt then the offer was not a committable one anyway. Look at what USC did to the 8th grade QB they offered several years back.

If Americans were allowed to vote online, Texas A&M would be president.

Hoping NCAA Football game has Ryan Swope on the cover. Would be a good experiment on if bad cover athlete hurts sales.
Bryan Fischer @BryanDFischer
RT @darrenrovell: EA Sports NCAA Football cover will have either Michigan's Denard Robinson or Texas A&M's Ryan Swope.

Voting for Robinson....that's a game I was planning on buying...wouldn't want it with an Ag on the cover...
Aren't you comparing apples and oranges? When we were always in the mix for guys in the top 10, there were 5 guys from Texas in the top 10. Now there is one, and he has strong ties to LSU and the east half of the nation. We are technically not out of it for Brown at 15, although it is looking bad. Then you are looking at 28 and 30 for the only remaining guys from God's country in the top 30. When we get guys from outside of the state ranked that high, it has always been a last minute "surprise" signings. We were seldom considered favorites going into the final days, but Mack and his staff worked magic to make it happen. That does not appear to be very likely with the current group, but that will change if we have one of those magical seasons that come out of nowhere.
Why offer sophomores who have 3 years left til their NSD? Neither makes sense, but it is the game today.
I wish our AD had that kind of reaction after a loss....
Because in 5 years they will be signing on NSD.
Wow, those are two awful choices. I guess college football really was down last year.

Cameron Ridley (right eye) practiced yesterday and has been cleared to play tomorrow vs. OU. Julien Lewis (right eye) still being evaluated.
Bruce Feldman @BFeldmanCBS
Per USC SID: During spring practice, there will be no media restrictions regarding the reporting of injuries.
The geniuses at EA decided to do an internet fan poll.
So of course the two finalists were from the biggest alumni base and the biggest online poll voters.
Lots of good candidates for the cover like Kenjon Barner or Tavon Austin or Jarvis Jones didn't have the online votes.
@CoachAkina: It's not whether they can run 4.4 it's if they can PLAY 4.4!
@KennyVaccaro4 absolutely does!
Isn't it child molestation to offer an 8th grader?
