Just dropped TW in favor of Dish. :-(
Huge! Take that all those fans from other schools that say the LHN is a failure!
That was my first thought. Finally a big-time domino fell. If DirectTV picks it up, it's over.
suddenlink serves a lot of west texas,i live in childress have suddenlink no lhn
This is great news. I thought in another thread they talked about Dish getting it by tomorrow...? If that happens Directv is going to lose some customers next year especially if the rumor that every provider will have the option for the sunday ticket.
I just got off the phone with time warner cable. I now have the LHN !!!! ($8.95 for sports package, channels 1300-1334).

Wow! Just huge news. Weird that its only in Texas but huge news nonetheless
Chanel 1593 in Austin, turn your box off and on and it should be there
It's 1.3 million subscribers. It's not that huge, but every bit helps. If TWC were to roll it out nationally, then it's a game changer. Dish, which has 14 million subscribers is a much bigger deal. If we can get them or DTV, then it begins to get real.
Congrats to you all that got it. I just got the text.
Rubbing salt in the wound. Thanks Longview Kilgore CableTV. You useless bastards. My Internet is down right now too. FML.
Looking for that directv contract as we speak......
Well, still sucks for me as I do not reside in Texas. Congrats to everyone else though!!
I ordered AT&T Uverse this morning. Got more channels, faster Internet and can watch four football games at the same time and pay $100 less than I pay for TWC. Screw TWC.
Not weird at all. TWC hasn't consulted the facebook map showing all the Texas fans in those counties in North and South Dakota.
will y'all stop complaining now?
Slowly making progress year by year...will miss the days when people constantly bitched about not being able to watch LHN and Twitter being littered with jabs at the greatest network on TV.
I'm happy for those that will be able to see the game tomorrow! I have Dish, but I will be at the game. I just called Dish and the all the representative would say is no they don't have it at this time but would notate my wishes to have it on the account. I informed her that Time Warner just picked it up and they probably would be losing business!
No offense to anyone but we are all stilll ESPN's bitch.
Longhorn fans are diehard about one thing and one thing only.....
DirecTV is losing me by next week if they don't jump on board. I've been waiting 3 years, I'm sure as hell not gonna let an early termination fee keep me from it.
Reboot your box
Waiting 3 years for a channel that launched 2 years ago is impressive?
I live in Vegas and have cox. Just found out I can watch longhorn network live online anytime with my cox user name and password for all the cox customers out there.
LHN is on here in Central Texas 444/1593 as part of the expanded cable service. No extra sports package fee. It finally just came on air without rebooting.
If ESPN is doing in-state only deals now for the LHN, there's no reason they can't cut the other big providers in on that.
