Here is a free tool from Norton, that will eliminate most any viruses or gremlins you may get. It will reboot your computer and scan the boot directory for any hiding there as well. This is a very nice item to save to your desktop, it does not cost a thing to use.
Edit: I run this every weekend just to check, takes about 10-30 mins depending on amount of files you may have. You will love this if you ever get infected, simple and best of all FREE.

Nice tool - thanks!
Some infections are tricky, though - they'll intercept *any* program you try to run and abort it or pop up a window with, "WARNING: The program 'xxxx" (the one you just tried to run) contains a virus and will cripple your computer ..." or some scarier garbage message.
In these cases, reboot your computer into "Safe Mode," (by using the F8 menu) and run the Norton tool from there. It'll have a chance to actually run then and do it's thing.
Hook 'Em! ...'til early in the morn.
It did finally allow this. But, it blocks inserting a link into the "Attach" Links box, the icons here and inserts extra boxes which I would bet do not work to add photos and things. Also on a Weather page, Weather Radar is blocked.

Today it rerouted me to a football and basketball recruiting combine in Oregon. Likely Will Lyles or Baron Flenory have something to do with all this.
You may have to uninstall all your browsers and plug-ins and then run you're antivirus and anti spyware program...When I got this on my old PC, it took me several days to clean and stabilize...
This is why I made my Apple comments...I have not had a problem in 3 yrs after the switch...
Hope your fix goes better...
Tomatoe, tamatah, it's all the same.
First Row Sports has been seized...
I just got redirected to a porn site on my Droid.
I have had to do that exact same thing, different versions of a nasty virus that mimicks anti-virus sw. A few times it would not let me use my USB jump drive or internet, that is when I had to do safemode with internet and run this tool. I keep it as an icon on desktop, and have it on a USB drive to save all my buddies.
No it hasn't. You are using the wrong domain extension.

Apple's pricing just gags me but it does seem to browse the net with no problems. What's a little odd is that I'm being directed sometimes to sites that are relevant to football recruiting, no porn yet.
Download malware bytes and run it. It's free and will clean everything up.
Been recommended but I already have paid AVG. Isn't that the same thing? The only time my browser appears to be hijacked and links me to another page is when I first log on here. Will malwarebytes or malwarebytes pro stop that?
U are right
What does that mean?
A domain extension is the last part of a web address such as .com; .net; .eu; .ca; .org etc.. firstrowsports.com was seized by the government, but firstrowsports.eu still works fine. This is what HookemDTX was referring to.
They are now going thru a European route..
Thanks. I believe when I used it the site may have been in Mexico, Africa or some other Godforsaken place. I'm getting what appear to be some pretty sweet deals from Nigeria. LOL
Malwarebytes deals with Malware and will work with AVG. If you use the Pro version it will protect you in realtime. I run ESET Smart Security (I like this a lot better than AVG) with Malwarebytes.
If you live near a Fry's you can get deals on all internet security and Antivirus software. I got Malwarebytes for 10.00 and the Eset is normally 89.00 for 3 PC's and I got it for 39.00.
The Eset product also has a firewall to protect you from intrusion.
Don't have the slightest clue what you're saying but will ask my IT guy about it. Thanks.
Malwarebytes is free, easy and so much better than AVG (even the paid version) for malware, hijaks, etc. I use Avira (free) for real time stuff. And if something really bad happens, ComboFix is free and will catch pretty much anything.
So many inappropriate jokes running through my head in this thread.
Unfortunately, I'm one of the five people on this site who could end up in HR for my message board posts.
