Would we try and go after him or to much baggage now?
no. too much baggage now, IMO. I do not want him spreading that to Jinkins since Jinkins is starting to develop.
Hookem for Life!
He has some sort of personality disorder. He's got more important things to deal with than finding a place to play football.

Hope Thomas Johnson gets the help he needs
Mental health problem. Hope he gets help.
What would Johnson "spread to Jinkins" or any other player for that matter. He had an acute psychotic experience most likely related to early onset schizophrenia, if I read things correctly.
Is that something that can be spread? is it contagious? What are the various vectors involved?
I agree that he won't ever be a Longhorn nor should he. But spreading "that to Jinkins?"

It's not medically contagious by any means, but I think what he meant was it could still be a huge distraction if we take this kid in and his issues cause problems with the team chemistry or the such.
Either way, he needs to not worry about football until he gets his condition under control. And we don't need to be bringing him on at all. Dodged a bullet with that one.
Your over analysis is over analyzing.
I was more succinct.
I was more analytical and smartassed.">)
Mental illness cannot be spread like a cold. I have no idea how anyone could think like that!
As for Johnson, I think he needs to focus on getting better and sort out whatever issues he may have. Fortunately, there are resources available. In the long run, I think it will serve him well getting away from the demands of being a scholarship athlete and student for the time being. It's good that he's addressing it at a young age.
I pray that he get's healing he needs to be able to function in society regardless what his future holds.
So do most of the posters on this board.
That kid has issues.
Signatures are stupid. You should block them.
what in the history of Mack Brown would make anyone think that there was the remote chance that Texas would look at having him transfer to Texas?
Does that mean we could play for the aggs?
Is this the first time the MB curse has knocked a kid out of school?
RSJ is screwed.
.Most reliable statement on this site.............
I don't think anyone thinks that. People are afraid he might be a bad seed with a bad attitude that could spread that like Darius White allegedly did to Mike Davis.
Fair enough. A good or bad attitude can be spread but mental illness can't. I don't have enough information on the young man to make a judgement on him as a person.
It's a moot point and I think once he can get his issues at a managable level, he'll go back to Sumlin and return to A&M.
I feel for the kid. Spending half a semester in college station would drive me bat shit crazy as well.
This thread is rich in Aggyness.
I wish the kid the best. He is a heck of a player, and it is very sad that somebody so young has to suffer this way.
Its the Mack Brown Curse!!
Man, this Mack Brown Curse is really taking its toll. The kid from auburn, johnson and many others. RSJ should watch out!!
Winner, Winner, Chicken Dinner.
I laughed out loud!
