OKC G Russell Westbrook will undergo surgery to repair lateral meniscus tear in knee. No timetable for return.
Signatures are stupid. You should block them.
If its a meniscal repair, he's out for the play-offs. If it was removed, he could be back in two weeks.
Interesting. I thought it would have been the opposite. What's the timetable if it was removed?
This is where the Hardin trade hurts.
Ouch that's not good at all. A lot of people complain about Westbrook, but the fact is, he's a crucial part to the Thunder's success.

I am not a big fan of Westbrook, but it appears he got "cheapshot:" several times in game two by a guard making his first start. I like McHale but this almost looks intentional.
Beverley was literally the only player who showed up to play game 1. His was also extremely successful at getting under Westbrook's skin. It was a no brainer start.
And calling what he did a "cheap shot" is laughable.
I agree. I don't have a problem with what Beverley did. Westbrook has tried that same move a number of times.
False. Engage your brain.
My apologies if you already did.
sorry I got everybody fired up. I thought he got into westbrooks' knee one time that looked a little too much. I like both teams and sorry for the misunderstanding.

I didn't see the play. Anyone got a link?
I can barely post replies, so no linkie from me. It may have been a different player. i just remember watching a highlight and thinking that it was a little over the top.
Thanks NLeininger. after watching it again I don't think it was on purpose, but still a reckless foul. he had no chance for that ball and thru his butt into Westbrook's knee pretty hard.
I don't think that the replay looks kind, but I don't think the Beverley play was malicious or trying to hurt anyone at all.
If you have been watching the series, Beverley has been playing balls-to-the-wall, 110%, junkyard dog type of Basketball. I do not like to see Westbrook get hurt, but I Love the play of Beverley in the playoffs so far. I hope that Houston continues to give him a lot minutes.
Without Westrook in the lineup, I could guess a KD 50 spot game is coming.
