Just confirming what we already knew
Taking off from its outstanding NFL and college basketball maps, Facebook has compiled county-by-county data on which Top 25 college football teams have the most across the nation (click here for a larger image). With the usual caveat that many of the counties shown here have very few people, here are some takeaways:
XoGisele, Ashley Sky, Niki Skyler
Texas is not America's Team ! Texas recruits most of its players in the state of Texas. Very view players play for Texas from East to West. You have to have major brand recognition in order to recruit east to west. USC is more of Americas Team than Texas. The other issue with that facebook map is most adults over the age of 30 could careless about facebook. No love for Alabama. BS...

Or it could be that high school football sucks in your state so you're forced to recruit east to west. Apparently based on this data and annual revenue/profit, Notre Dame doesn't come close to Texas.

How do you know Notre Dame is a private school they don't have show their hand. Look at the ratings last year. Notre Dame had 5 of the most watched games last season. Notre Dame has the largest demand for tickets as our ticket prices are the most expensive in the country. Notre Dame has a tiny alumni base compared to Texas yet the Fan Base for Notre Dame surpases Texas.
Americas Team. That is laughable ! Ohio State Trumps Texas in a heartbeat so does Michigan.
The Notre Dame fanbase is composed of pedophiles, drunken Irishmen and imaginary girlfriends.
Alabama just scored on y'all again as you were typing.
OSU and Michigan trumps Texas? That's ridiculous, Michigan and tOSU are every bit as regional as Texas and their region is much smaller geographically with a smaller population...that statement is just idiotic. I think you underestimate how big a reach Texas has throughout the Southwest all the way into Colorado, Southern California, and Silicon Valley.
Notre Dame is an afterthought for anyone younger than the baby boomers.
You mad bro? Notredame is irrelevant and has been for the last 20+ years. You underestimate Texas, the 800 lb gorilla of college football! I guess that buttwhooping that bama gave y'all left you a little lost buddy...
You are absolutely drunk.
Texas is the most profitable college brand in the nation, and the most valuable college football team in the nation (Forbes, Dec. 2012).
As for your fan base, Notre Dame is the biggest bandwagon school on earth... 99% of your fans never went to college, let alone Notre Dame. And most of them would tell you Rudy was the best player in Irish history.
Go back to your barstool... or go unclog another toilet if you're not off work yet.
Why are you on our board? It's because you know Texas is a big deal. End of the story.

America is a vast and varied place. No one is America's team in any sport, save in international competitions. I'm perfectly happy with the Texas Longhorns being the team for the many fans of the Texas Longhorns. We are many; we are mighty; we have a right to be proud; but we aren't everyone, don't represent everyone, and have no need to suggest that we do, even in semi-jest.
Dude nobody care about Texas Football outside of Texas, Nobody ! Notre Dame is east to west you cant argue the facts. At team that is the most profitable doesn't mean they are the nations team. Where do you kids get these ideas.
Did you even read what I wrote?
Lol. Funny, Dude. Buh Bye....
I heard that Jerry "the pedi" Sandusky has become a priest in prison. Word has it that he is going to be a guidance counselor at Notre Dame.
