What are the chances that we can win out now that Kabango is back. I think the Big 12 is extreme weak this year. Even if we were able to win out, with how weak the conference is, I don't see us getting invited to the dance.
I'm afraid that our only hope for the NCAA tournament is going to be to win the Big 12 tournament.
There's nothing to be afraid of, that is our only hope.
Barnes is 0-6 in Big 12 Tournament Championships... it doesn't look good.
Atleast we have baseball... maybe
If just adding a rusty Kabongo causes this bunch to win the Big 12 tourney then it'll be one of the biggest upset runs in the history of basketball. This team is terrible right now and their confidence has been beaten to hell
No doubt... I haven't watched them since the last WVU beatdown. I simply can't take it anymore.
Chances of winning out? Next to 0. Win conference championship? A very, very long shot.
But see my thread with an early look at the projected tournament field. There may be room for a Texas team that wins 6 of 8 to end the regular season and gets to the conference tournament finals.
Texas would finish with 18 or 19 wins and 7 wins over teams in the tournament. That could be enough.
Some needs to do a "basketball chupita" here and spin positive stats to show these haters and meanies.
The only "spin" we need just returned from an excessive suspension for flying to Cleveland... Kabongo is going to make the rest of the season very interesting.
We have to play a near perfect game at KU to win but the rest of the games are more than winnable............get a break or two in the Big 12 Tournament and anything can happen. We are due foe some good things to happen to this team!

The selection panel will look at the way we finished if we can win the majority of our games, and they would consider the fact that most of our losses came without having our top player. NCAA birth is still unlikely, but stranger things have happened.
The weakness of the conference isn't going to help...
The game in Stillwater is going to be very, very tough to win.
Great start. 1 win over a potential tourney team down, a few more to go.
A lot of chances to make a good run here at the end of the season. Kabongo really means this much to the team, everyone is in their right role on the team now.
Uphill battle for sure but a great win tonight for a struggling Barnes team!!! Hook 'em!!
