This is what happens when you score runs.
Lot of walks and pitching changes, too.
Bad play there by Weiss. Allows UCSB to get a run home. 10-5 in the top of the 7th.
Not a good day from Texas in the field despite not having an error.
Toller Boardman coming in now for Cox.

Johnson is the one who made the bad play imo. He has to keep the runner at 2nd.
Don't be afraid to ride the lightning.
FIFY, but I understand you are in bad baseball fatigue.
and having a home plate ump struggling with his zone.
Another inning when a lot of Gauchos come to the plate. The Horns let two home to shrink the lead to four.
Bottom 7th: 10-6 Texas
Marlow being on base keeps Johnson from going for the cycle.
Thought Johnson had a chance there for the cycle. Smart to hold him at second.
Moynihan coming in to to hit for Stell with runners on 2nd and 3rd and one out.
Check that. Steinhagen now batting since UCSB made the pitching change.
Great play by the UCSB third baseman on a shot by Hinojosa down the line to get the out at first and end the inning with the bases loaded.
Horns add one more in the 7th on a passed ball by pitcher Mahle.
Top 8th: 11-6
Knebel now in to pitch and Felts in to catch.
Hall in center, Shaw in left.
Good move, he needs some innings.
Knebel makes quick work of the top three in the UCSB lineup in the top of the 8th.
Bottom 8th: 11-6 Texas
Carter draws a walk but that's it for Texas in the 8th. We're headed to the ninth inning with the Horns up 5 and Corey Knebel on the mound to close out Texas' second sweep of the season.
Top 9th: 11-6 Texas
Dave - NC and Bruce thanks for the updates today
The Horns needed a 3 game sweep this weekend. Its hard for me to get a feel for this team right now. My gut tells me UCSB is a good team but I thought Stanford was a good team and they are about the same record as the Horns.

You will be hearing alot more about UNLV this year, count on it.
Knebel strikes out three of seven batters faced and closes the door on Santa Barbara.
FINAL: Texas 11, UC Santa Barbara 6
The Cardinal is better. That was a Road Series, a big difference in the early part of the season.
