It is scoreless after one
"Texas reliever Corey Knebel has been suspended for the weekend series against K State for a violation of team rules."
Meyer, Mitch flied out . Davis comes home to give K-State the 1-0 advantage as we head into the bottom of the 2nd
Quick note: Texas has won 7 of its last 8 games in the series against the Wildcats
Heading into the top of the third Kansas State with the 1-0 lead

In the bottom of the 2nd, Texas still trails 1-0
Texas bats colder than last night heading into the 4th
Quick Stat: This season, Texas has scored 31 runs in the 4th inning (highest run total in any inning).
If Nicholson comes back next season i'm going to be furious. He is a terrible hitting coach. I run average is down from last year and our batting average is down last year and so is our total runs scored and batting percentage in RISP. He is just terrible. Augie better fire his ass.
Meyer, Mitch for Kansas State triples to third and left stranded on a groundout from Kivett, Ross. K-State holds onto the one run lead heading into the bottom of the 4th
Knebel is gone after this season. He and the staff just seem like they don't gel. Knebel really screwed us in some tight games this year.
Weiss is in a very huge slump lately. Like the last 4 series he has just not looked the same at all. His batting average has dropped around .040 points and he seems to be striking out a lot more. Plus his power and hitting average and RBI's are all down from last year.

Jetson 212, I agree, something has got to give. There is too much potential on this team offensively to have such low numbers. Hence why Texas got rid of Tommy Harmon after last season
Into the Top of the 5th, Texas trails 1-0
Every since Augie change the meat of the order of Weiss, Payton and Hinojosa where Weiss is now batting 2nd and Payton batting 3rd or 4th and Hinojosa batting 3rd or 4th, the 3 guys have really been in a slump. Weiss's average has dropped .04 points since the change, Payton went from .410 to around .375 and Hinojosa just dropped about .01.
In Big 12 games this season, opponents are hitting just .221 against the Longhorns as the pitching staff has posted a 2.37 ERA in conference play.
And why the hell is Madison Carter starting at 3rd when Ty Marlow is as just as good as a 3rd baseman and a way better batter? I think Moynihan was doing a good job batting DH, batting around .250, i would like to see him go back to the DH and see a lineup like this.
2. Moynihan (DH)
3. Weiss (LF)
6. Felts (C)
7. Silver (1B)
8. Ty Marlow (3rd)
9. Brooks Marlow
Bottom of the 5th, 1-0 K-State advantage
I think our Pitching will be better next year too, as long as the only one we lose is Knebel. I just hope Peters doesn't leave because he is our Ace. Plus we will have John Curtis coming back from Tommy John and i like what i see from Duke.
I like Weiss at 3rd but it is understandable if he is needed in Left, especially since Walla is off the team. Lots of holes there
Montalbano singles through the left side RBI (1-2 FFB) B. Marlow scores, unearned. Score knotted at one
Whoa, Texas is on the board. Didn't happen in the 4th, but got to bring yourself up somehow looking into next season
Hall goes down swinging heading into the 6th. 1-1 tie
I agree, but i think Ty Marlow could hold down the spot good enough. LF has been an adventure for us this year.
26 of the Longhorns' 43 games have been decided by two runs or less this season.
