Release from UT:
Longhorn sophomore wide receiver Bryant Jackson has a broken bone in his right foot and will undergo surgery on Friday morning, Texas Head Athletic Trainer for Football Kenny Boyd said. Jackson is expected to be ready to return in the time for the start of pre-season camp in August.
Too bad. I guess there really isn't a good time for a WR to have foot surgery.
"I've heard some of our fans say, 'We were always an SEC school. We just didn't know it," athletic director Bill Byrne said.
We can rebuild him. We will make him faster, stronger.....na na na na na na na na
Sorry to see this as he had a nice spring.
is he the WR who was injured in a morning practice but your sources wanted to withhold the name?
I had really high hopes for him as a safety. I blame our wr depth forcing him to change positions for his failure to develop.

I thought Bryant should be a safety. I think Mykkele should be a receiver.
Maybe we can make a trade.
I think we should trade him to the defense for M. Thompson.
too bad. kid's working hard. hope he comes back strong. wish him all the best.
Well I guess we better lat Akina and Wyatt know that the trade has been aproved by the big boys over on Hooke.com.
Depending on how Jackson's foot heals, even if he did move back to safety he now risks getting lost in the shuffle. Scott, Evans and Turner now have the summer to work along with Colbert coming in for workouts.
I liked watching him in high school and hope he can find his niche somewhere.
