Another BCS game played before a stadium 2/3 full. Is there any fan on the planet who thinks the BCS era (schedule of bowl games) has been a success? I wish we would go back to the days when most big games were New Years Day.............
"Leadership is wisdom, courage and great carelessness of self"
I wish we would go to a 16 team playoff. I never again want to hear that someone is playing in "The African Anteater Bowl" in Tucson on New Years Day in front of 10,000 people.
Often to a rousing start by murdering the national anthem.
I got brains. I got big ol' brains. I got dinosaur brains.
I think part of the reason for the disinterest is the lack of traditional match ups like pre-BCS bowls. Northern Illinois, Louisville, no hatred there. Not sure a playoff will get more fans in seats. Depends on who's playing who. Oklahoma vs A&M, that'll put fans in the stands.

Florida vs Oregon would have done it. K state vs FSU would have probably done it.
Keep in mind the Orange Bowl had about 25,000 empty seats last night. A large state school couldn't sell tickets.............I know Northern Illinois was not a great opponent but how many times has FSU played in a BCS game in the last 5 years. The fans should've been excited..............
I watched Texas vs Oregon State. I haven't watched a single minute of a single bowl game other than that.
If there was a 16-team playoff, I'd probably watch as many games as I could. I have no interest in tonight's game. Until this thread, I didn't even know who was playing.
this is eight minutes before kickoff per Andy Staples
First play from scrimmage, Driskel gets pick-sixed.
Looks like Muschamp didn't get his team ready to play tonight..............
IMHO if a BCS bowl isn't a sellout they should lose BCS status. The Orange Bowl seldom sells all of its tickets. Dallas should have a BCS bowl.

Florida has given up four plays of 25 yards or more on the entire season.
Are you all watching how physical and instinctive the linebackers for Louisville and Florida are playing! That's how I wish our linebackers would play!!!
I think Matt Elam might have killed a guy. He should probably lay low for a while.
this Florida D just reinforces how soft our D was this year. WOW
Florida doesn't have the offense to get into a shootout. They better get their shit together or this is going to get ugly
Trivia note: DC for Louisville is former Horn Vance Bedford
Not pushing out Mack in favor of Muschamp has set Texas back at least 4 years but probably more.
What was the line on this one?
SEC SEC SEC
Seriously, if Florida loses after LSU lost; does the SEC shine start losing it's luster?
UF -21 I believe
ETA: announcer just said UL were 14 point dogs so I'll go with that

Agree with you but the Gator are not up to the task tonight so far..................Louisville looks like they want to be in New Orleans for a football game and the Gators wish they were on Bourbon Street.
It was UF -14 actually. Just double checked it
Still hefty nonetheless, but closer to what I would have guessed-
I hope so. I'm tired of 5-6 SEC teams being in the top 10 because of their perceived strength of schedule. Pulling for ND and Oklahoma. Pour it on Louisville!
