Kendal was arrested for public intoxication and interfering with an officer/official process.
"Officers were responding to a loud party and found Kendal outside laying on a hill. They asked him to sit up and he stood up instead. Then all hell broke loose. Cops tackled him to ground and arrested him. Kendal struggled. He is really muddy in his mugshot. so you can tell it was a good struggle."

Ah yes, the old spinning arm bar move...
Again, per SoonerScoop
According to the arresting affidavit, Norman police officer Steven Boxford and another officer were responding to a loud party complaint at 730 Stinson St. when Boxford spotted Thompson lying on a hill on his right side and snoring.
After identifying himself to Thompson, Boxford shined a light in his face to wake him. The officer could smell alcohol coming from Thompson's person and breath, according to the affidavit.
Thompson, 20, is four days from his 21st birthday.
"As I was speaking with him, he was not making sense with incomplete sentences and was becoming harder to understand him," said Boxford in the affidavit.
After Thompson awoke, the officer said he rolled into a sitting position. Boxford told him to remain seated "many times" and "asked for the other Officer to come over to my location as he was continually trying to walk away from me."
Thompson eventually stood again with his hand in his left pocket and did not sit down.
"He continued not to obey commands and I grabbed his right arm and completed a spinning arm bar to take the defendant to the ground," said Boxford in the affidavit. "Once on the ground, the defendant continued to fail to obey commands to put his hands behind his back and get on his
Lol. They drive right by the house with the meth lab and arrest the kid soundly sleeping on the hill.
So a kid who's drunk off his ass and passed out in the grass doesn't make sense and seems to not be able to comprehend what you're asking him to do? Well no shit, he's passed out drunk. If he wasn't trying to run or fight there was no reason to tackle him. Just repeatedly say calm down and stand still and put your arms behind your back then cuff him. Help guide his movements and if he fights you off then tackle him.
Knew things were a little too quiet.
OU sucks, but let the kid sleep it off.
Welp, the QB competition just got cleared up.
There is nothing more dangerous in this world than a man with nothing to lose.
Knowing Stoops will be suspended for at least a weekend.
Meh...much ado about nothing...UT & OU both with back-up QB's arrested for the same offenses
I'm sure some posters here will go into the details of Thompson's arrest, but in the end it's just being underage drunk for both

why would he suspend him for any longer? It was a drunk college kid who happend to be underrage. He wasn't driving or causing problems. Big deal.

Which part of his repeatedly trying to walk away from the officer and not staying still for the officer did you not understand?
Personally I would have titled this as "Kendall Thompson arrested" to scare everyone but that works too.
At least it wasn't cocaine. Amirite?
"I don't hate you, I'm just not necessarily excited about your existence."
