I don't know how often the LHN will do this but they showed the skycam view and had the Craig Way broadcast calling the game which was pretty awesome. Helped me realize how quick the game is from a QB perspective and how our Dline left gapping holes for the OSU RB to cut back or to the outside. You felt for the OSU QB everytime you saw Okafor and the rest of the D teeing off on him.
Yeah the endzone view is my favorite for football. They do it when they can get the rights to do so, so basically not for big 12 games or any game on fssw, fx, etc. When ESPN has the game they can do it if they want to.
Sure....rub it in that you two get the LHN. Direct TV has 6 months to get it..or else!
You either like this view or you don't. As a replay perspective view, I love it. As a default view, not so much. Despite the superior announcers, I went back to the regular ESPN feed.
Watched second half on LHN.
Strangely, it's also about 5 sec in front of espn's regular broadcast.
Thank for the info....I haven't seen it before and was just impressed with it the whole night. Also throwing in Craig Way was a big bonus.
That's the first time they've done it, I think. They usually just have the radio broadcast and post the game stats. Whenever it was a key play, I would switch to it because I couldn't wait the extra 5 seconds to see what happened.
They did it for the Ole Miss game I believe, which was the only non LHN ESPN game this year other than the bowl game. I remember watching that game on LHN with CRaig Way and the "all 22" camera shot
Somebody in here, Dave I believe said it was on LHN-which I have in the bedroom. Craig Way was soo much better than those yahoos on Espn and the end zone shot was great as well. Now I know for a fact that my changing from the media room to the bed room is what won the game for the longhorns.

I must not have tuned in during that game. I guess they can only do it when the game is broadcasted on a sister ESPN network.
Just finished rewatching the recording of LHN as I watched the ESPN broadcast live. Had Craig streaming on the interweb and was a few seconds in front of the ESPN telecast as the poster mentioned above.
I appreciated the flyover shots of the sidelines after change of possession and time outs. I remembered Storm coming to his sideline after his last TD run and really giving it to UT fans. ESPN cut away to a time out during the live broadcast but the LHN telecast kept the camera on the action. Several OSU coaches came over to him and chewed his butt out for acting a fool. Also, one of the law enforcement officers standing guard on the sideline came over and whispered in his ear. Reminded me of the Geno Smith affair at DKR. Anyway, after he collected himself, he put his head in his hands realizing he let the emotions override his poise.
Woods next carry was his last for a negative 2 yards. On OSU's last 2 possessions he was replaced by #2 RB Terron Ward. I guess the substitution was the fact that Woods had been ineffective in pass pro given the number of sacks that had piled up. Ward was not any better as Vaz was sacked on 4 of 9 plays he was in the game although you can blame a lot of that on Vaz and give a lot of credit to DBU for coverage sacks. Our DB's balled all game.
Just found it a very different way to watch a ball game. It was TONS better than their first attempt in Oxford against Ole Miss. They got their act together for this effort.
I was going to mention this, too - Woods was really showing his ass.
Yes he was, and Storm was catching hail for it too.
I agree; endzone views are the best. Both watching live or from the tube.
Since the buildout of the northern EZ st DKR, i mived my season tivkets from the 30 yard linze in east side upper deck to right behind the left up right upper deck. Having sat in EZ now for whatever this has been (. 5 years i guess) i now hate watching a fame from any other angle.
