Throw out your Texas guesses for the NCAA tournament...region & seed...closest gets a free month on me
Ready boring without the Horns - still cannot believe how far this team has fallen - hopefully, Barnes pulls a rabbit out of his hat and gains a top level recruit - at this point it is hard to be too excited about next year - the team should be better but Texas should be better than this
Florida once again gets a seed it didn't earn.
Gunna be rooting for all of the upsets this year. Four 16 seeds in the Final Four lol! But in all seriousness, hoping there's a VCU/Butler/George Mason style Cinderella to keep things interesting

Texas @ Houston on Wednesday in the CBI is the rumor...
I bet Rick will have them all fired up for that one!!!
My adopted second team, UNM got a #3. Should make it to the Sweet Sixteen, then presumably OSU.
Those teams aren't even Cinderellas this year. Wide open tournament.
Florida is Kenpom #1 and rpi #6.
It beat Wisconsin by 18. It beat Marquette by 33. OOC loses were @ Arizona by 1 point and @ (sort of) KSU in Kansas City by 6.
Couldn't win their crappy conference which sent a total of 2 teams to the dance and probably would have been a one bid league had Florida won.
I thought they could be anywhere from a 3 to a five. The problem with Florida is that they limped into the tournament. Four losses out of its last nine in a very weak conference. One road win since the end of January. They did have the two big pre-season wins at home very early; but that probably should be balanced with home loss to KSU and a loss to Arizona on the road. What put them where they are was a 13-1 run from the end of Dec. through mid-Febuary. But that was against what in retrospect was a very weak schedule.
You are right, I had totally forgotten they were in the SEC.
Florida Gulf Coast to the Final Four! You heard it here first lol
