It will be interesting to see what the market is for Colt
Good. He needed to get the hell outta dodge.
Yep. He took a beating year before last. Nice Oline in Cleveland. It will be interesting to see where he lands and what his chances are to succeed & if he can take advantage of a new situation. Hope he does.
I am glad of this. Not because Colt was let go, but because I feel that Cleveland is just a bad situation for any quarterback. He should go to a team where he can take a backup job to a good veteran qb and learn from him. Hopefully, he will be given a shot later down the line...
When you figure there are about 96 QB jobs in the NFL it is hard for me to believe he there are 96 better than Colt. He is a team guy and athletic.....................I do wonder if Colt's dad will be a concern for some teams?
I hope if he can't start he hooks up with NE, NYG or Pitt etc

I don't think it's likely he ends up in Houston, but I think he could run Kubiak's play action scheme. As a Texans fan, I would welcome his signing.
Signatures are stupid. You should block them.
Peter King reported on NFL Sports Talk that before leaving the Browns, one of Mike Holmgren's greatest concerns was Colt's concussion history...Holmgren told King the Browns believe Colt's had at least 6 concussions going back to HS, with at least 3 of those labeled as "serious concussions"
King stated the Browns medical staff could not determine just how many concussions Colt's had
If true, I don't want Colt playing any longer
About time! It's amazing to me that Colt has kept a positive attitude after playing in Cleveland. I say he reunites with Jordan in Jacksonville! Heck, he could start there!
The Browns could not have been a worse place for Colt - or anyone else for that matter. Hopefully, he gets another chance somewhere that isn't a football wasteland.
I think I saw a report a few weeks ago that the Browns were seriously considering letting Colt and Weedon both go.
I saw one of The worst concussions he had when he was a sophomore in HS. He was playing both QB and Safety. He got lit up on a hit and really don't think he knew where he was in the 2nd half. He played great on both sides but would be curious to know if he even remembers that game.
Probably the best scenario for both parties. He won't get a fair shake at Cleveland and that place is going nowhere fast (actually they are already there).
IMO the best thing for him is to go to a place like Jacksonville where he can compete immediately or a place like the Steelers, Patriots, etc where he can backup someone good and learn.

Peter King..........IMHO is a joke and Mike Holmgren spent so little time doing his job (according the press in Cleveland) that he had no idea what was going one with Colt or anybody on the team. Holmgren in his 3-4 years there did 2 things............hire is friends (with gaudy salaries) and collect a paycheck.
