I remember the first half of the Kansas game where I think he had 25. Just unbelievable
Don't look know but he's becoming a better all around player too. Rebounding better. Playing better defense.
18 in the fourth quarter the other night against Atlanta.. Just a killer.
No doubt. Continues to get better - we works his tail off.

Was there behind the ku bench. He played little n the 2nd if memory serves. At the time, no South team had won at Phog. I was talking to an old timer at half who said it was the best individual performance at Phog since Wilt was there.
I remember that game and how quite the Kansas crowd was. I think the realized there was nothing they could do to help. I have always said there are three players coming out of high school that I thought were actually ready to step on an NBA court and either start or be part of a seven man rotation. They are Kevin Garnett, Lebron James and Kevin Durant. Everyone else needed a year or two before they could really do something. I am glad we got our year.
Yep. He rolled his ankle a little near the end of the 1st half and it slowed him down a little.
No player in Big 12 history will ever have a start to a conference career like Durant, who managed 293 points and 125 rebounds in his first 9 conference games.
Brandy Perryman just didn't get enough playing time IMO
Merry Christmas Hunasty!!!
lol you too
