There is no dilemma. Both players should be suspended immediately. They should not play in the bowl game. Period.
They must be offensive players because we all know 2 players on our defense couldn't tackle much less assault anyone.
Yes that was rude and I apologize
The team absolutely has a curfew. At the very least there were team rules broken. What the consequence is of breaking curfew is different at different places.
Any way you slice it, just stupid move by players.

A woman told police she met two UT players out partying overnight and invited them back to her room at the Holiday Inn. She later made the allegations of sexual assault to police.
Sounds like a set-up to me. SHE invited them to her room and they are accused. Without knowing the facts, my initial reaction is BULLSH*T.
Meaning - that I'm generally knee deep in the middle of stupid threads. Some of the stupidity riddled in this conversation even deters me from getting involved…
Ahh gotcha. Sorry if I came across as hostile.
A for effort
I agree the 2 longhorn players sholdnt have been partyin that late, but she invited them up to her room at 3 am and then says she was sexually assaulted? The dudes never should have been there thats first and foremost, but still smells fishy to me.
The SEC of signatures....
They are definitely guilty of breaking team rules, more of an indication of their level of respect for the head honcho. If they are actually guilty of raping a woman, which I somewhat doubt, then they are guilty of a lore more than a lack of focus.
pun most difintely intended.
Honestly if there are no charges and noone is arrested how is it even news worthy?
Should we go ahead and rule out Adrian Phillips

Mack doesn't hold players, coaches, etc. accountable, IF the accusations are correct I have my doubts much will be done about this.
no worries. my reputation precedes me
trust your instincts....and dont get involved.
Word is it was Case and Shipley.
The girl is a tech slut and HS friend of Case.
She wanted a McCoy to Shipley connection but after it was done she decided she didn't want to feel like a slut.

Terrible. Absolutely terrible. Not even close to being funny. Don't quit your day job dbag
This is on Mack. WTF were they doing out of the hotel room at 3 am?
I'm gonna venture a guess here...
Trying to get laid? Devil's threesome style
Quit my day job to post on here? Who do you think I am... longhorn in Ok?
I don't see anyway that Mack can allow the two players to play in the bowl game. Whether guilty or not they broke team rules and brought bad public perception to Texas.
Not on Mack. Any organization, system or group will have people circumvent the system. Unless Mack told them to go up to that room or sneak out if there was a curfew, then its not on him. Now, you can say that Mack has created and environment for such actions to be taken and thats debateable. That said, he didnt help them make the decision to go up stairs and get accused of something.
There is nothing more dangerous in this world than a man with nothing to lose.
Short of locking players in their rooms, there's not much a coach can do if a couple of idiots want to go act like idiots.
Signatures are stupid. You should block them.
