Do you want them?
We can make it work either with CoverItLive or here on the board where questions are answered within a thread.
I'm looking for feedback from you guys to see what might work best.
I'm indifferent towards them. I think you guys do an excellent job of responding to questions and comments in users' posts to where a chat feature isn't necessary. However, I'm not opposed to them by any means.

I think it's a must for game day and NSD. A weekly chat and OT board would be cool too.
This! Any event/camp/game needs a live chat.
I was under the impression that Longhorn in OK already used this like a chat board. KP has something to say about everything.
(It's one of the things that makes this board so much fun)
I think coveritlive would work really way for game threads.
Hahahaha. I've backed off a lot lately. I feel like I'm letting you guys down.
That's because you got promoted ...Instead of chasing the man, you are now 'The Man'!!!
Kind of. Let me put it to you this way,I read the Eyes at my desk.
Would like it but its not completely necessary

That's what she said.
My vote would be yes. You guys nail the coverage as is, but it would only make it that much better if we could get a one day per week where we could grill you guys real time!
With all the info we get here and how quickly you give us feedback, I don't think it's needed.
Yes but do not see a need for CoverItLive...It would take 2 mods at once because 1 would be overwhelmed...
is chat really needed? One of the reasons I like this site so much is that you guys are great about responding to users questions in the threads.
My only opposition to a chat would be if it meant that nuggets of information that would normally deserve their own thread are only mentioned as part of the chat. If you can't keep up with the chat, I would hate to have to go though seven pages of post padding material to make sure I did not miss some real info.
Before anyone's feelings get hurt, I enjoy most posts, even the padding variety. They keep the pace moving when posts are minutes apart; but when you try to read a game thread for example when you have been away for several hours and have to read though multiple pages to get relevant information, what was clever as the innings ticked by at a snail's pace becomes tedius.

My vote is yes!
Could you set up a special chat for men who watch pro ball? My wife is getting suspicious about all those charges to the pay sites.
Yes and I've been told multiple times that it's coming. It would be a great addition to the site.
9 and 4 at Texas sucks!

I did too and this was the answer i received.
"Yes, but not this camp/combine season."
Same with the OT board. I know we have a thread but it's not structured so people don't come post in there. I think OT would make site traffic go up in a good way.
