Synopsis: Coach Brown's seat is not hot, but if Texas doesn't beat OU, he never recovers.
Sure, that makes a lot of sense.
I think he makes a good point about the potential undervaluing of the Texas team this year.
At the same time, the Horns have been somewhat snake bit the last three.

He is pretty much spot on to what is possible either way. We are truly not going to see Mack go anywhere barring a total collapse as long as DeLoss is here. I am hoping we get some injury breaks and play at a premium level. If we do not 2015 recruiting will be really depressing to watch. Truly a make or break year for Mack with the caveat being the new AD will be the one that deals with this. My guess is Mack resigns AFTER DeLoss leaves in the negative scenario.
Everyone who picked the Horns to win big the last three years was made to look a fool. Nobody is anxious to repeat that. The Horns have the makings of a solid team. If they find someone who can help them put it all together they will surprise folks (looking at you Major)
There must be speakers talking to the team about anti-bullying.
Just like most title contenders in the B12, lots of ifs and buts. Who can put those Ifs and buts together the quickest will win the conference. Its going to be pretty interesting to see too. Every real contender sans Kst plays an OOC that will challenge them. TCU/LSU, OU/ND, UT/BYU-OleMiss, Okst/MsST are the marquee games of the conference and those games will show us a lot about each team.
For texas, its really hard to look past the inconsistent QB and OL play as well as the doubts they have at DT, LB and S.
OU, new faces all over the defense that was hardly stout last year. QB that has not ran the entire offense in a game yet.
TCU, OL questions and a returning QB that may or may not be what he used to be
OKst, OL questions as well as a new OC and DC.
This should be the most DVRd season in history. Lots of games will do down to the wire.
There is nothing more dangerous in this world than a man with nothing to lose.
They have not been snake bit, they have been very poorly prepared and coached.
Mack Brown not being on the hot seat is what's wrong with Texas. Coaches need to coach with presure and apply that presure to their players. This is not done at Texas. But is done at high school level at many places.
