I'm sure everybody has seen the video of the call by now. Has anybody heard of any repercussion to the official? That was right out of the end of Remember the Titans, and on National TV. Tell me he's gonna keep his gig as an official going forward.
I'm with her. Matter of fact, I'm often laughed at around my house explaining sports in this manner.
3yr Old Daughter can see, even after the official review. Gamecock Outback Bowl
Hey...she makes more sense than what dribble we usually hear for explanations of calls................
Next year she should ask Santa for a telestrator and have at it. She would run circles around John Madden.
Hilarious. The official should be fired and never allowed to work NCAA football again.
Not really, but I have never seen so many bad spots as I've seen this year. I watch about a half dozen college games every Saturday and you cannot count on one hand the number of times in every game where the spotting official gives at least a full football length and regularly a half yard more progress than the receiver or ball carrier honestly got.
Watch for it and you will be amazed. The difference here is that it's on camera up close.
And I know, the angle could be misleading but even considering that this was not a first down. It's like there was an emphasis before season to always give full if not extra credit for forward progress.
