Injuries are inevitable. Both Joe B and Hicks are important to this team and their loss is unfortunate. With that said, the timing is favorable given the off week. Not just because it gives those guys time to heal but it allows the other guys to adjust to their absence. More reps and better preparation for the backups. But if I had to pick which is more impactful to lose I would suggest Hicks. Our defense has some issues and I think Jordan is a communicator and field general. I guess I feel more comfortable with Brown, Grey and Johnson picking up the slack on offense. There are clear risks with the two true freshmen but I also would like to see what Grey and Johnson have. I suspect one or both are gamers.
