"There are rich teams and there are poor teams, then there's fifty feet of crap, and then there's us."
"You smell that? Take a deep breath through the nose. Really let that seep in. What are you getting? Because to me it's part man-smell and the other part is really bad man-smell. I don't know why, but overall it just smells like the color brown. Your thoughts?"
I believe todays game and todays player has finally passed the old guy by......
It's pretty simple, if he cares about the long-term interests of the University, he'll step down. If he's motivated by his own desires, he'll hang around and dig us a ditch that will take a decade to get over. He simply is not the answer any longer as head coach at Texas.

It is unbelievable how arrogant Texas fans are regarding Saban. I agree the money, talent and facilities are top notch and Austin is a great city. However its not as simple as just paying him more money. He is building a legacy and he would lose that with Texas. Saban can't coach forever. Look for someone younger with drive. Brown is terrible though.
I noticed the OP had 100 UV's when I posted in this thread 1 page ago, it is down to 93 now. Some mighty blind supporters for Mack.
"Who was your source? Church mice in here....." - Coach Muschamp
his legacy would be unmatched if he won an NC at Texas for his 3rd different school.
Too much time has passed. Bump.
Part of the reason why Mack is so pathetic is because he has the athletic department's dweebs on sites like this trying to put out fires. He tells former players not to criticize. He talks shit about the fans being upset. Hell, he's even talked shit about the Longhorn Network. It's time for him to go. It's obvious that this hasn't been fun for him in a long while. He's too old, too fat, and too out of touch.
Fire Mack Brown!
I've been on the fire Mack Brown wagon since 07. He's completely useless as a coach and always has been.
"I don't hate you, I'm just not necessarily excited about your existence."
This. That isn't going to work anymore. Especially not with a youth movement. Too much inexperience for a hands off coach.
I cannot believe we pay $5mil for the services that are returned to us from our head coach.
Fucking ouch. FIRE MACK BROWN
And ask for a refund while we're at it!
I believe he will leave after this season, one way or another. But it will be made too easy for him IMO.
This guy deserves some spit in the eye and a kick in the seat. In short, an unceremonious shitcanning of the lowest order.
chip, chipita! chip, chip, chipita!
Munching on leftovers and with out of town visitors (Brazil) watching, with did our annual TG pig out (sans aggy relatives for the first time since forever) at Mom's and turned on the game. The Brazilians hadn't watched American football before, yet picked up that the "purple people" looked more excited to play. Wow. Was it that bad? They all nodded, "yes".
Then my 81-year-old mother, a life-long Horn, state sadly that, "You know, that Mack Brown should go. He's obviously lost it. I'm going to wash dishes." That was in the 3rd quarter.
When momma says it's time to go, well...
Please resign, MB, and save UT football. Mom says so. And so do I.
"Football doesn't build character. It eliminates the weak ones." DKR
Hilarious. My momma also said she could do Mack's job. Said turnovers are bad, mmmkay? Hahaha.
Have to bump before bedtime.
Sweet dreams of a new head coach at Texas everyone.
Kicking it off this morning. Need some bumps today to keep it going. Love Mack or Hate him, reality must set in and anyone with logic must acknowledge that the program has lost it's way and needs new leadership now.
Beat me to it, Russell.
Fire Mack Brown. Mmmmmmmk?
