What are the expectations for this team next season?
- 6 seed
- upset over the three
- sweet 16
- punish Baylor and then steal all of Scott Drew's cell phones
- productive start in Maui
Let me first say that this could change if Devonta Pollard selects Texas...
I see Texas ceiling as a 4, maybe 3 seed depending on non-conference wins.
If this team is lower than a 6, I would be surprised.

24+ wins & conf title
Sweet 16 or bust.
I think 4 seed and elite 8
6 seed is underachieving. 3 seed and with a good draw could make the elite 8.
I'd go easy on expecting a conference title.
“Kansas may wind up number one in these polls, but that would be so unfair to Texas...” -- Len Elmore, 2/13/11
You always bet on Bill Self when it comes to conference titles.
I believe a visit to the 2nd weekend of the Dance is imperative. Anything less (absent unusal injuries or unexpected attrition) will be considered a failure.

This is mine as well. If we get pollard, elite 8.
KU has more experience and also brings in a good supporting class. Baylor has no major weaknesses.
Texas still would have no upperclassmen. They'd have a better shot, though.
This coach has something to prove in that regard as well, having started 11-0 in the league two years ago and not getting it done.
Top twenty, but not top 10. 4-5 seed. 50-50 for a sweet sixteen. Outside shot at a conference title. This will one of Self's weakest Kansas teams.
People said that this yr. I think they're loaded next yr - senior strong guards, senior improving center, then mclemore and the 5-star big guy whose name escapes me.
Perry Ellis. And not to mention they are getting Andrew White who will replace Teahan's shooting while not lacking athleticism or defense...
Thats definitely not true, if Withey comes back and they find a decent PG they'll be set.
With the addition of Ridley I expect to actually watch a game next season without breaking things.
