Wow, those are some big talented young athletes!!
Glad the visit went well. Hope they got to talk to Mack and will be back during the season to visit during a game!!
9 and 4 at Texas sucks!

I got brains. I got big ol' brains. I got dinosaur brains.
If the defense plays as well this year as we all think it will, and if the offense is able to run the ball as well it looks like it should be able to, I think ESPN might start giving UT the same kind of coverage it currently gives Alabama and LSU, and I think that would do wonders for our ability to recruit out of state kids. Think national recruits would quckly (by the end of this season) start seeing UT the same way they currently see Alabama and LSU.
And if the offense is able to go beyond just running the ball, I think national recruits might start liking UT more than Alabama and LSU. Why go to a school with great defense and a great running game but an otherwise boring offense when you can go to a school with great defense, a great running game, and a very fun offense. And with the diversity of Harsin's offense, I think this offense might end up being a very fun offense as long as Ash and the offensive line take a step forward from last year.
If that happens, I think all the out of state recruiting the coaches are doing will pay off by the end of the season. Right now, UT might not be getting many commitments from out of state kids, but I think that could change by the end of this season.
I'm really excited about not only where the staff has UT positioned for this season but what things look like for the next 3 or 4 seasons and even beyond that.
