The Holiday Bowl, played in San Diego, Calif. since 1978, will reportedly feature the Big Ten, not the Big 12, against a Pac-12 opponent after the 2013 season.
Multiple outlets are reporting an end for the Big 12's relationship with the Holiday Bowl. The Big Ten is expected to take over after 2013.

Well that's great, that's just f'n great, man. Now what the furk are we supposed to do?
San Antonio. It's the new San Diego.
I got brains. I got big ol' brains. I got dinosaur brains.
Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Antonio, which of course in German means a whale's vagina.
One more de Lo$t opportunity. Thanks big guy. The Big XII sinks as Dodds rides off with his gold; and people wonder why UT is in the hole it's in. Geez!
Wish we had kept that one.
9 and 4 at Texas sucks!

Bowlsby was spinning this potential change in an April interview as he wants bowl games the fans can drive to when I have a feeling the Holiday Bowl gave the boot to the Big 12 and replaced with the Big 10.
Also looks like the replacement is a FL Bowl vs an ACC team. Why does the Big 12 keep wanting to align with the ACC?

A common mistranslation. San Diego is actually German for whale's vajayjay. San, meaning whale, and Diego being a bastardized form of the Latin term deekgo.
San Antonio is more properly translated as whale's anus.
Thank you, thank you. I'm here all night, and don't forget to tip your waitress.
Could we possibly work our way into the San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl instead?
The Holiday Bowl is not what it used to be. They couldn't keep up in the money stakes.
How many B12 vs SEC bowls are there?
Because the Big 12 should beat the out of that league.
Their payout is $2 million and the Russell Bowl is $2.2 million. Not exactly a huge difference.
Holiday used to be at $2.25 million but they are still a top 15 payout bowl.
They don't want to keep getting beat and want the PAC 12 teams to win once in a while.
So we are upgrading. Great!
I miss the Weedeater Bowl.
I heart my Poulan. Weedeater.
