These look to be directly from Nike, also it was stated that they are NOT changing game uniforms this year.

9 and 4 at Texas sucks!

Don't like them. UT is orange and white, not black and orange like OSU. I do like the Longhorn on the front and getting rid of the TEXAS on the front. Our helmet has the Texas Longhorn logo (most recognized in the nation) we don't need the name on the jersey, no one is confused when the UT football team enters a stadium. Earl Campbell had no Texas on his jersey and no one was unsure were he was from or who he was when he flat ran over their ass. A once a year, one game "combat"uniforms might be cool, but the "Tiddy whites and the classic Burnt-Orange jersey" is Texas. Screw Nike!
DON"T MESS WITH TEXAS. Hook'em
I like the white/orange with black trim. I'm fine with these being practice uniforms. So long as the helmet stays the same. I think a little variety is good. And it's very good for recruiting.
There's awful, there's God awful and then there's those.....
i agree,if it ain't broke don't fix it - what is it with all this black crap anyway
If it ain't f'n broke!!!! Don't F with it!!
- God Bless Texas
apparently someone thinks its broke cuz they are f'ing with it.
Understand there may be some need for change, but I really do not like the black. Trim around collar and sleeves in black is fine, but numbers state insignia, etc should be contrasting either orange or white. I did like the idea of "EYES OF TEXAS" on the collar of the one jersey. The player would see it right above his name every time he put it on.
The world was once flat too. I guess they didn't want part of the fanbase to go full retard so they just flashed the most generic "practice" jersey they could. I can't wait to see the meltdown from the game day unis they are working on.
I could see something similar to this. I DO like the helmet. That look makes M. Brown look intimidating.
