Doesn't sound good. If he was cleared, you'd just say it.
If 10 games then it gives us enough time to get ready for Big 12 play. The conference season is very imporant if we are to make the NCAA's. The 10 games have helped Felix ......IMO

I will be honest I don't know. Does the return or possible return make that much of a difference? Will he change the makeup of this team?

We are ugly on offense but a good defensive team now Myck will make us better on defense and will cut down our turnovers plus will be able to play more up tempo.

Very good questions. Personally I don't know what all the sensationalism is all about. Kabongo wasn't all that great. He may know Barnes court routine but I sure do not think he is any great point guard like we've had here at Texas in the past. Let's face it, this team is so young that even with Kabongo we would probably still be sucking buttermilk as far as the NCAA's go.
Not only him but our best rebounder isn't playing either. We are getting killed on the offensive glass. Those two guys will make a huge difference. Texas is an NCAA tourney team with those two guys.
I think this will be interesting. The potential issue is a kid that came to college with the intentions of staying one season...
And then he stayed, because his draft stock wasn't what he thought it would be/desired to be, and now he is back...
If he was planning to be in school one year before he ever played a game, that is an interesting situation IMO.

This is stupid. He misses the two possibly winnable games against good non-conference opponents (Georgetown & UCLA). We'll wind up with no even decent OOC wins. At least last year we had Temple....

Atleast he'll be back for UNC-Michigan State run.
Hopeful that if 10 games is legit that they can get it down to 7 and be back for the Jimmy V
FYI there's a hoops media availability today at 3 to preview Saturday's game. If they haven't announced what it'll be before, they'll likely do it then.
I've been saying 10 games but it could very easily be a statement to say he's served enough time.
I mean, it's so much fun because it's a true guessing game.
Bout to head over to campus. I'll let you know if anything is said.
Nothing new to report.
So their report is that there is nothing to report... I can't say I'm shocked...
seriously? this is getting ridiculous.
