Davidson-Marquette was all tied up but a 7-1 run by Davidson has them up by 6 with about 9 minutes left.
I suspect I.U. is his dream job, but Crean isn't going anywhere unless the pros call.
Davidson with the first huge seed upset it appears
Looks like the Big East will start 0-2. EDIT..potential jinx post. Marquette down 1 with the ball. Hit 3 straight 3's. Never fails.
Gonzaga only up 34-31 at half.

Davidson up 1 with 6 seconds left
Jamil Wilson hit a three followed by a horrible turnover by Davidson with 5.5 seconds left to give Marquette a chance/
No d on the drive to the basket for the easy layup. Davidson just threw the game away in the last 10 seconds.
Wow. Great finish. Davidson gave that one away with the turnover and the poor defense. No fireworks yet, though Oregon looking good against Oklahoma State right now.
Glad I talked myself out of taking Oklahoma State far in my bracket...
From the Cinderella darling of years past to the first 1-seed to go down in the first round?
Marcus Smart continuing his flopping ways. Should fit in well in the NBA.
KU is the only team I had getting past the first weekend and picked the Ducks over OSU.
In reference to Dave's question about Gonzaga becoming the first 1 seed to lose to a 16 seed, it didn't happen with a slight assist by the refs in not calling the obvious hack from behind on the drive by Southern, down 4 with about 40 seconds to go.
OSU getting creamed. Time for Ford to barricade the offices?

Well Marcus Smart's NCAA career is over
just looked at this Dotson cat for Oregon who has 17 points. He's a freshman from HOUSTON.
Plenty of talent in this state that aren't five stars. Texas needs a coach who can find them and develop them.
Oregon just said fuck yo 12 seed
Well, that's not Barnes.
Wow Marcus Smart really meant one and done. You can put that one down as one Texas missed but really wasn't hurt too much by it.
Louisville, who is my overwhelming pick for this year's ring cruises to an easy win. What they did to Syracuse in the second half of the Big East final was scary good.
No surprise on Smart. He has had one and done written all over him from the day he headed to Stillwater. He's a very good player, but I doubt he would have taken this U.T. team to the dance. I'm a little surprised that they lost to Oregon, but not that surprised. Oregon is a very young team that actually improved as the season progressed. The Big XII was very weak this year. OSU simply wasn't a five seed. This wasn't an upset.
Good day for the Pac whatever to this point. Arizona is cruising. Oregon looked more like a five seed than a 12. Cal. is leading in what may be another 12 over 5 "upset". I think Arizona is good. The West region is balanced from #1 to #6. I don't like KSU or Wisconsin; but any of the other top six could make it to the dance.
That was disappointing. One of my college teammates is the head of the math department at Davidson.
Cal. is going to hold on. The Pac whatever probably is better than ranked. The UNM/Arizona game should be a good one on Saturday. I would much rather have my Lobos play KSU than Arizona
depressing seeing all these small schools that have efficient offenses and players that can score the ball. They may not be elite athletes or NBA prospects, but they can score.
I think there are about 10 coaches I've seen just today that would do better than Barnes at this point at Texas.
